WeChat recommends using mobile phone number registration and supports mobile phone numbers in more than 100 countries. WeChat cannot be registered directly through the QQ number or email account. The first time you use the QQ account to log in, you can't log in. You can only use the mobile phone to register and bind the QQ account to log in. WeChat will ask to set the WeChat name and nickname. The WeChat name is the unique identification number of the user in WeChat, and must be longer than or equal to 6 digits. After the registration is successful, it is allowed to be modified only once. A nickname is an alias for WeChat that allows multiple changes.

The Tips of Wechat Payment for overseas accounts

WeChat payment is a payment function integrated in the WeChat client, and users can complete the fast payment process through the mobile phone. WeChat payment is based on the fast payment of the binding bank card, providing users with safe, fast and efficient payment service. According to Tencent's official statement, the current WeChat payment has covered 311 banks. Four types of overseas credit cards, including American Express, JCB, VISA and Mastercard, support binding WeChat payment.

There are restrictions on the payment scenarios that can be used by WeChat payment users who are bound by overseas cards.

  • WeChat wallet merchants and e-commerce, O2O, travel and other areas of cooperation brands, such as Jingdong, Didi, China International Airlines, China Railway Corporation (12306) and other core merchants are available.
  • At present, only the consumption scenario is supported for the time being. It cannot be used in other scenarios, which means that ordinary transfer and red pockets will not work. Payment to the store through the static barcodes posted in the store for collection is available.

Cautions:

The central bank will limit the bar code payment business of individual customers according to the risk level of prevention capability.

  • A level : Use two or more effective elements including digital certificates or electronic signatures to verify the transaction, the customer can agree to a one-day cumulative limit through agreement.
  • B level : The transaction is verified by two or more effective elements including digital certificates and electronic signatures. The cumulative transaction amount for a single bank account or all payment accounts of the same customer should not be More than 5,000 yuan (about 780.76 US dollars).
  • C level : The transaction is verified by less than two types of factors, the cumulative transaction amount of a single bank account or all payment accounts of the same customer should not exceed 1,000 yuan (about 156.15 US dollars).
  • D level : The static bar code is used, the cumulative transaction amount for a single bank account or all payment accounts of the same customer should not exceed 500 yuan (about 94 US dollars).
